Abstract

The possibility of misrepresenting Buddhist concepts by science academics using oversimplified interpretations is demonstrated by showing that living beings and physical systems (sensing machines and atoms) are closely similar and that life/death cycle is common to them when only some selected factors are considered while a few critical ones are carelessly or ignorantly excluded. The omitted critical factors are identified.

Basic life/death processes; functional composition; base functions; three signs; thirtyone abodes; and rebirth are considered. Part II deals with deliverance.
