Format

Prajñā Vihāra, like many journals in philosophy and religious studies, uses the Chicago Style format. It has traditionally used endnotes rather than footnotes.

Since this is a journal of philosophy and religion we prefer academic articles and discourage research articles. There are some exceptions, for instance, if an article in religious studies relies heavily on interviews or empirical research. We also are happy to publish more creative articles like photo-essays, film reviews, art criticism, and other experimental approaches to issues in philosophy and religion.
