Focus and Scope

The ABAC Journal is a double-blind peer review journal, published twice a year, in June and December.  The Journal offers an international platform for interdisciplinary discussion, based on current research and best practices in management and the humanities. Topics under business management include business management, economics, tourism and hotel management, marketing, finance, human resource development and management. Topics in the humanities cover education, language learning, literature, and interdisciplinary social sciences. The Journal is intended for a wide audience in the academic community. In the past three years, the aims and scope of the journal have been adjusted to focus more on regional business partnership such as ASEAN, and the EU while still welcoming research and innovation from individual countries, emerging economies, and developing economies in today’s challenging global context, characterized by globalization and the digital era.

Peer Review Process

All papers received will be subject to double-blind review process in which they are evaluated by a panel of scholars who are unaware of the identity of the author.

Publication Frequency

During the last three years, the aims and scope of the journal have been adjusted to focus more on regional business partnerships such as ASEAN and the EU while still welcoming research and innovation from individual countries, emerging economies, and developing economies in today’s challenging global context, characterized by globalization and the digital era. It is believed that the more focused research findings would attract more professionals and internationals to publish their work in this journal. Since 2015, two issues per year with more focused research have been published, one in June and the other one in December.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
