Abstract

Modern Secular Culture primarily is the result of world wide extension and influence of European Culture. Therefore, in order to determine the constructive and destructive power of Modern Secular Culture for shaping a dynamic world peace in encounter with traditional Asiatic and African Cultures, an analysis of positive and negative characteristics of European Culture seems to be necessary. These characteristics are to be comprehended by means of their historical manifestations, especially of the development of European Philosophy from Antiquity and Middle Ages to Modernity, which we have to look over in the following exposition under this aspect.
